Yoga

  • Learn how to develop a home yoga practice.

  • Learn how to sequence your own yoga flows. 

  • Learn how to scale up your yoga practice. 

  • Learn how to stretch specific areas of your body in depth: shoulders, spine, hip flexors, hamstrings, internal hips, and external hips. 

  • Learn the how to link: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5+ postures. 

  • Become proficient enough to confidently take a group class.

Strength

  • Feel comfortable and knowledgable in any gym or strength class.  

  • Learn the 3 lifts of powerlifting: the squat, deadlift, and bench press. 

  • Learn the 7 movement patterns: knee dominant, hip dominant, horizontal push, horizontal pull, vertical push, vertical pull, and core. 

  • Learn how to train specific body parts: shoulders, biceps, triceps, chest, glutes, core and back.

  • Learn how to program a strength routine for yourself.

Nutrition

  • Learn to think of food on a continuum: eat some, eat more, eat less. 

  • Learn to record your food intake.

  • Learn to eat a wide variety of mostly whole, less-processed foods. 

  • Learn to measure portion sizes with your hands.  

  • Learn to practice good sleep hygiene.

  • Learn to make eating an event.

  • Learn to eat lean protein at most meals. 

  • Learn to drink mostly non-caloric beverages. 

  • Learn to eat slowly to 80% full. 

  • Develop an evidence-based approach to nutrition.

"Susanna is an amazing personal trainer! I can’t believe it’s already been 3 years. When we first started working together, I was looking for a low-impact exercise that would help me stay active while we were all sheltering in place. Susanna introduced me to the world of yoga, and I fell in love with it. As someone who historically suffered from dull back pain due to tight muscles and a weak core, I have learned a number of stretches/exercises that have become a baseline for my life.

 

Over the last three years, my life has been incredibly busy and somewhat transitory. I planned a wedding, changed jobs, completed an MBA, and moved twice.
